How to Order
Our user-friendly system makes online ordering easy and secure. Just browse our store, and add any items you wish to buy to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on the button and you will be asked for a few details that we need to complete the order.
(1) Go to the store section you require
(2) Select your item(s) and add to shopping cart
(3) Click Checkout and complete the order form with your name and address
(4) Enter your payment information
You will receive an email confirming your payment and an email confirming the details of your order, as well as a printable receipt.
We accept all major credit, debit and charge cards, including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club, JCB, Eurocard, Switch, Maestro, Delta and all Visa affiliated debit cards.
Prices are in British Pounds (GBP) (UK Sterling). If you are shopping from another country, place your order and your bank or card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We have included this term in case a mistake has been made in pricing or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. The online store is set up for most normal purchases. For more complex requirements, please contact us.
The Whole World Company strives to improve its products and services continuously. Product illustrations and screen shots may vary in latest versions. Product sizes are approximate. Relative image size does not correspond to actual size.
Shipping and Handling
Delivery is by standard mail in the UK and air mail or economy mail to the rest of the world. Postage and packaging (also called shipping and handling) charges are as follows:
(1) UK
GBP 2.35 for the first item and GBP 1.00 for each additional item.
(2) Western Europe
(a) Airmail: GBP 4.30 for the first item and GBP 1.35 for each additional item.
(b) Economy: GBP 3.60 for the first item and GBP 1.35 for each additional item.
(3) USA and Canada
(a) Airmail: GBP 5.85 for the first item and GBP 2.35 for each additional item.
(b) Economy: GBP 4.40 for the first item and GBP 1.90 for each additional item.
(3) Worldwide
(a) Airmail: GBP 7.30 for the first item and GBP 3.35 for each additional item.
(b) Economy: GBP 5.75 for the first item and GBP 2.50 for each additional item.
Products and services delivered digitally (such as downloads) do not incur postage charges. To ensure that you do not pay postage and packaging for digital delivery, select 'Digital Delivery' as the shipping method.
If you purchase a mixed order of physical products (such as a paper book) and products or services delivered digitally, you will only be charged postage for the physical products.
For the UK and other European Union customers, if your order includes items with VAT, sales tax will be added to the postage charges for these items. For customers outside the European Union, no sales tax will be added. For information on sales tax and customs, see below.
Delivery Times
From dispatch, delivery is around seven days worldwide by air mail. By economy mail, delivery is usually 7 to 21 days worldwide. UK delivery is normally two to three days from dispatch.
The total delivery time depends on availability plus delivery. If your item is in stock, it is normally dispatched by the next working day. If your item is not in stock, delivery takes a little longer. If your item will be delayed considerably, we will contact you to ask if you wish to cancel your order for a refund.

Tax and Customs
Prices are shown exclusive of sales tax (VAT).
(1) Customers in the European Union
VAT (17.5%) will be added to your checkout total where applicable:
(a) Printed books are tax free.
(b) For certain products and services (indicated by a VAT information link), VAT-registered organizations in the EU outside the UK do not pay VAT. If applicable, tick the Taxes box on the Checkout page to show that you do not pay VAT for the product or service. You must also enter your VAT number. As this rule applies only to specific products and services (indicated by the VAT information link), you must pay for these items separately from other products or services.
(2) Customers outside the European Union
No sales tax will be added.
Purchases sent to customers outside the European Union include a customs declaration. The customs declaration lists the contents of the packet and their value.
You may be charged by your local authorities for import of goods when the goods arrive in your country. As the purchaser, these charges are your responsibility. Please contact your local authorities for details as regulations vary considerably between countries.
Your order may also be opened by your local customs authorities.

For card processing we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Connection and Data Encryption (you will see this displayed in many browsers by a lock or key symbol) provided by NetBanx, one of Europe's leading secure online payment systems.

All products and services come with our 30-day return guarantee: if any product or service is faulty or falls below the standard you expect, we will replace it or refund your purchase. This is in addition to your statutory rights.

The Whole World Company does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
When you place an order or contact us, your details go via our Internet, card processing, email, fulfilment and delivery service providers in the UK, EU and other countries. Your details will not be passed to any third parties or companies for marketing purposes.

Returning an Item

Under European Union law, you have a period of seven days from receipt of goods or services in which you may cancel your purchase.
If you wish to return an item, please send it by recorded delivery within 30 days of receipt to the address below. The returned item must be unused and in the original packaging.
You must pay for the cost of returning the goods unless the item is faulty or was delivered to you in error.

To return a downloaded product, you must complete and sign a Letter of Destruction. The Letter of Destruction, when signed by you, certifies that you have destroyed the digital product(s) you purchased from The Whole World Company. Please contact us if you require a Letter of Destruction.
